The Weekend I Never Wanted to Return From

So I went on a trip back to Malaysia to meet with my loved ones. The prospect of simply heading back to my country of origin was already scintillating enough, what more with the only people I'd like to spend any weekend with.

What with the troubles of the world, the suffering of fools at work, and my general uncaring attitude towards the voting of the next President of Singapore, this break was as good as it came. As far as I'm concerned, the President of Singapore is merely a figure we're throwing $4million at for his term to do exactly what the government already deemed he/she can do, nothing more, so don't bullshit me with what you can "bring to the table".

Now for pictures at Sunway Pyramid, PJ, Malaysia. A time and land of simple pleasures, where the food is delicious to a fault, where the people are warm and charming, who actually chat with you and give way without horning incessantly.

If the pictures do not show that, it is only because I am not a good enough photographer to capture such goodness.

Footy at the Ceylon

Where I work, gaming is at our core, and the people are driven to new heights every waking moment by seemingly insurmountable challenges that are beaten time and time again. Countless battles have been lost, casualties incurred, sacrifices.. too much to define, yet we soldier on as the hardcore mofos we signed up to be.

I can't say I don't appreciate working with these fellas, but hard work is hard and relationships get strained because.

It's only these times when you're out of it that you truly enjoy the company of company.

FTW, fellas.

The Singaporean Tourist - Getting Snappy

Many times I hear people expressing absolute boredom at photography in their own country. I cannot speak for other countries but this is very prevalent in Singapore. I've called this place home since I was moved here with my family at a tender age.

This country amazes me. I doubt any land's been able to change its landscape and make-up of people with such ferocity in the span of merely 46 years. There're things changing right under our noses every moment that passes and it is because of this that I must disagree with the crowd that there is nothing more to shoot in Singapore.

I'd like to share what I see in this land (and more, hopefully!), and as often as I can, with the only camera I have that was gifted to me (a Samsung EX1, just in case anyone was curious). Be well.

*WARNING. Photos are about to flood you like Orchard Road "once every 50 years". All photographs were taken by me, so naturally, all rights are reserved by me.
